Introduction

Your e107 website runs from both the files e107 provides, and those such as images, which you add to the system. There are a number of ways to backup your website files.

Download them using FTP

  • Connect to your website using FTP.
  • Select everything in the "public_html" home directory. The actual name changes depending on your ISP, but it is always the folder where you installed e107 i.e. where e107_config.php sits.
  • Use the download function to copy all of the files down to your pc.
  • Check all the files have arrived on your PC. Check in the subfolders.

Zip and Download from cPanel File Manager

  • Login to cpanel
  • Open File Manager
  • Click on the public_html folder.
  • Click the Compress Function
  • Download the file.
